Big Bear Valley is located in the San Bernardino National Forest, an east-west mountain range that is part of Southern California. The Valley has a seven mile long lake that is well stocked with trout and fisherman. In the winter, Big Bear is home to two ski and snowboard resorts; Bear Mountain and Snow Summit.

This website is best known for it's camping and hiking information. There are trail maps and descriptions, information about permits and picnic areas. Both camping and hiking sections cover all of the San Bernardino Mountains. This mountain range is host to many incredible outdoor activities.
